Onderwerp: Help with cookie mix please..

ive just done the mixture...500grms mix, 175grm butter and 1 egg...its been in the fridge for an hour...now the problems start...
Ive tried to roll the dough with a silicone roller on a silicone mat and it will not roll its stuck to everything...its one huge mess...
It isnt sloppy or goey, its the right consistency, but i cannot get it to roll thin so i can use the cutters...what am i doing wrong.. :(
I tried to cut a cookie and i cant even get it off the mat without it breaking up

Re: Help with cookie mix please..

maybe between parchment paper?
then 1 layer of the paper on the bakingtray rolling the dough under another layer of the paper, cut the cookies and remove the bulk of douch, then you won't have to move the cookies after you've cut them?
hope this will help, succes!

Maybe it's the weather. I've never had problems like that before.

try smaller pieces. get a small ball of dough, flatten with your hands, and then use the rolling pin. of course use lot's of flour on your work surface, and don't rol back and forth, just one direction.
