Onderwerp: Toppings for cupcakes...

I apologise if this is in the wrong place....
Can you use the mousse recipes for piping on cupcakes...and the vulling...i am not sure what that word means tho...
Ive seen someone use a caramel topping that has been piped and wonder how its been done

hi jayne,
your in the wrong section and ill give the moderators a sign to put this in the good question.
vulling means filling.
ive never used mousse in my fillings so i hope someone else helps you with that.
do you wonder how they make the swirl or the filling?
btw i maybe you can  check cake central also for more information in english.

Hi Jayne,

I have used chocolate mousse (from the supermarket) as filling, as well as the topping for cupcakes. The topping was used for a birthday party the same day, so it was 'safe enough'. It's not that strong or thick, it ended up being a blob at the end of the day.

As a filling (vulling) it is great ;)

Caramel creme: its buttercream with about 2 or 3 tablespoons of Bebogeen (u can find this in the supermarket close to the peanut butter). This is strong/suitable for toppings on a cupcake. Tastes yummy too ;)
