Re: Freezing....help please

Depending on your freezer ofcourse, they freeze real well.
I put the biscuit in a plastic bag. an houd before you need it you can take it out and let it un freeze just the way you froze it.

If I would have to make 5 cakes I would try to put 1 or 2 cakes filed and decorated in the freezer.
I freeze those the same way, in a plastig bad. When un freeze, I take the bag of and place the cake in a karton box in the fridge.

Re: Freezing....help please

yep, you can decorate and freeze them. I always use swiss buttercream and it freezes perfectly.

Don't forget to take the cake out of the freezer (and out of the plastic bag) the night before you need the cake. Put it in the fridge and it'll defrost, no problem.

It may appear damp when you take it out of the fridge but that's normal, it's the condensation. It'll disappear soon after and if it doesn't, just put the fan next to your cake and it'll dry it.

Think there is a problem...i covered a cake in fodant and froze it as you suggested, ive taken it out of the freezer and it looks like in the freezing process its gone all out of shape slightly, like its shrunk...is this right...
