Is there a product here in the netherlands similar to Crisco that is used in the USA, its a shortening and white in colour...

Hi Jayne,

Crisco is also available in the Netherlands, I bought it at Super de Boer. Sometimes toko's have it (Indonesian stores), and of course you can buy it on the internet like in the webshop linked with this forum.

By the way, you have put your question in the wrong section, this is for showing cupcakes. So I will move it to 'Bakken en vullen' in a few moments!
