Oh well and if not, you can always make cakeballs. Not that I liked that very much but most of the ladies here do. So it's worth a try. It's always a better option than to eat them all yourself *belly ache!*

Haha sorry can't stop laughing, they are gorgeous in a Frankenstein-way!
Next time I would make 24 cupcakes and put the other 12 in the freezer or if my oven would be too small I would bake them in 2 times.
That's the best 'advise' I could give you, don't know what went wrong...

Thats cos i used flash on my camera, they are a golden colour...
Ok will try some more tomorrow...and yes they were in a muffin pan...lol...hilarious

I always use the Funcakes mix and I never have had such cupcakes as you have now.
I bake them at 160 degrees for 22 min. and it never goes wrong.
Did you placed the cupcakepapers in a muffinpan?

Something must have gone wrong in your oven, they should not be so light at the top. Not brown, but just a bit golden.

Nope...oven is just fine...temp is right and had no other problems with my cupcakes ever...lol...ive just eaten one and they taste lovely...lol shame i cant say the same about the look of them...

hmm you have done every thing the right way.. weird.

What i usually do is just bake 24 and put the rest in my deepfreezer.. But i have halved the lot once.. so i don't understand what went wrong.

The mix said it makes 24 so i halved everything as one lady said to in another thread...
So i havled all the ingrediants to make 12, but struggled with 2 and a half eggs...lol...i filled the cases to make 3/4's full as i would usually. I baked them for 18mins at 180 degrees.

what heat did you bake it on and for how long? How much mix did you put in the cases? Sorry loads of questions but then i can help you more.

Ive just used the funcakes cupcake mix for the first and very last time...what an absolute disaster.....what on earth is this....

The case hasnt stuck to the mix, the mix has shrunk...i followed the recipe 100%....
